Anomalia explores resistance through the image of a lone figure moving against a collective current. Each work stages a confrontation between individual agency and cultural conformity, revealing textures of dissonance and transformation. It challenges aesthetic and structural norms, inviting viewers to witness resistance and emergence across form and medium.

The physical component—15 large-scale 60” x 30” metal prints—debuted at the Hamptons Fine Art Fair and must be experienced in person to grasp their full impact. Like the Chikai's previous collection "Hominis", these prints reveal new depths as viewers approach, engaging them in a physical zoom motif.

The digital video collection is manifested as a 1/1/500 format generated from an AI video glitch, pairing each unique video with a hand-selected “hero” frame—some clear, others glitchy or abstract. These dynamic NFTs use an interactive HTML viewer that toggles between still and motion, breaking conventional formats.
